Breen Transport required a website to reflect the high quality service that they provide.
FLASH - As a transport company it was appropriate to use FLASH to provide movement on the screen on the Home Page as the ship and aeroplane move across a shimmering sea. This immediately generates interest in the site and invites entry to further information.
The images beneath each menu item are continually rolling over to display other a whole range of images relevant to the company and its services.
Languages - The website will soon have four other language pages apart from English to accommodate their international clients. The choice of language can be selected from the display on the home page.
Search Facility - The search facility on the home page makes the site user friendly to both new and existing customers as a time saving tool.
Menus and Drop Down Menus - Drop down menus are used under the menu items on the home page to increase the range of pages that the visitor can select with out wasting time waiting for pages to load.
The pages are well presented with good use of images and informative text to create an efficient, informative, user - friendly site that remains aesthetically pleasing throughout. A company, such as Breen Transport, that considers itself a leader in their field must have a website such as this, of the same high quality.

These clients required a website to promote themselves as a company that provides a high quality service and is well respected in the business. This is accomplished by mentioning and displaying awards given by the Association of Landscape Contractors Ireland at various locations throughout the website. The display of the ALCI logo as part of the banner across the top of every page reinforces the professional appearance.
The banner design is simple but effective in cool green shades to give a pleasing effect while not detracting from the information presented on the page. The clients chose to use a Contact Us page and also to display contact details at the bottom of the site pages, so it was unnecessary to show addresses and phone numbers etc. on the banner leaving room for more pleasing images to occupy the space.
Links and Drop Down Menus: The layout and content of the home page immediately attracts attention and presents the range of services the company provide, encouraging potential clients to go further into the site via the Sevices drop down menu for more detailed information to suit their requirements.
Product Display: The clients also required a way to display the landscaping products they are promoting. Specific brands are displayed and linked on the home page, as well as by images and basic information on the products page. Links are provided to more information and also to the product parent company allowing easy access to information. In this way casual visitors are not inundated with text but can quickly find details as required.
Updating Site Content: The site has a facility to allow the clients to update the pages themselves at any time allowing them to keep up to date with projects and products.
The website is designed for easy navigation and provides general information while encouraging the visitor to contact them for detailed information and the possibility of a sale.
